Whimsy Supper Club Appetizer Q’s
What is Whimsy Supper Club?
Whimsy Supper Club is a small food experience business that creates unique dining adventures full of quirky characters, delicious food, and fun games or activities during the meal. Guests are encouraged to wear costumes too, if they like.

Do You Do…?
That depends on what you mean by that. If you mean by the operation of catering, where you cook the food in one place and bring it to another, I prefer to avoid that. Cooking the food on the spot produces the best results. If you meant I’ll cater to the preferences of my guests, then yes, I do that (within reason). The menus I create are customizable, and I make changes if there is a food allergy or dietary restriction.
No.
That market is already fully saturated with many companies catering to that, and weddings are not my thing. They tend to be large-scale, stressful, and I do not enjoy working at weddings. Plenty of others do. I enjoy occasions like birthday parties, anniversaries, and holidays such as Halloween. Small gatherings are my lane.
No, but I do work with families. If children are present for a Whimsy Supper Club experience, they must be supervised by their parents / legal guardians.
No. Plain dinner parties are lovely, but Whimsy Supper Club aims to do the weird, wild, and wonderful. This supper club lives in fabled, mystical worlds. I refuse to create a typical dining experience. And, still, if you want a regular, elegant dinner party, I can refer you to some folks who love doing that sort of thing.

The What, Where, When, and How Q’s
YES! You get to wear a costume. It is strongly encouraged, and not required. It’s something to do to add to the fun and immersion. Even in your daily clothing, you can still be deeply immersed.
Typically, I host a Whimsy experience at Flicker & Fir, an urban farm in South Corvallis at the end of Alexander Avenue, near Willamette Park. It’s a charming little venue to host supper club parties. They have chickens, goats, and many wild birds, especially flickers. There are many venue options around town to choose from, too.
I have done this once at a client’s house in their backyard pergola. It turned out to be magical for them. I’ll consider hosting a Whimsy experience at your home only if it meets specific parameters and with enough notice. One week before, at least. Need to do a site visit. Some homes have amazing kitchens and spaces to play in. If you have a beautiful, magical space where mythical creatures are likely to reside, let’s chat and see if we can transform your space into a Whimsy wonderland.
